Tess Alterations was founded by Tess Mullineaux. The official story shares that, following her retirement, the seamstresses who had worked with her remained to continue the service.

Tell the team what needs changing and when you need it. Trying on your clothing in the store helps the specialists assess the fit. Confirm timing and any rush fee before work begins.
Alterations are non-refundable. Work needed within three business days may incur a rush fee. The policy page lists alteration collection at 4pm on the scheduled day. Keep your receipt; redo requests must be made within one week of pickup, and clothing not tried on for the specialists does not qualify for a free redo. Consultation-only alteration appointments carry a listed $10 fee.
Keep your ticket as proof of ownership and check returned items before leaving. Published collection time is 5pm on the scheduled date. Review the full cleaning terms and confirm timing with the team.
Try on and approve rental items before leaving. Rental periods, deposits, late fees and returns have specific conditions; confirm these before reserving. Sales are final. Items left over 90 days may be donated. Some pictured styles may no longer be available.
